Talea Ensemble

I joined Talea in 2013 when I returned to New York City from Delaware. Talea ensemble has earned an international reputation as a top contemporary ensemble.  The group performs regularly at international new music festivals throughout Europe, and in university residencies in the United States. These talented musicians keep me at the top of my game, and it is thrilling performing adventurous repertoire in exciting venues with them.  Nothing is too big, too complex, or too bold for this organization!

Da Capo Chamber Players

I joined Da Capo Chamber Players in 2019.  This Pierrot ensemble has a long and illustrious history of promoting established and young composers’ new works in countless performances in New York City concert halls and beyond.  Da Capo celebrated its 50th season in 2021 and continues to go strong commissioning new works, performing a yearly New York City concert series and working with student composers in a residency at Bard College every year. I am honored to be a part of such an important chamber group and I count my lucky stars every time I walk on stage with them!

Zephyros Winds

I always tell my students, if you want to develop great musicianship and clarinet-playing skill, play in a woodwind quintet!  Zephyros Winds is a group of hot-shot players.  The group won the Fischoff Grand prize in 1995, and ever since then they have played on every major chamber music concert series across the United States. This is a unique group of soloists who have monster chops, and lots of musical personality- so fun to play with!

Collide-O-Scope Music

In its 13th season, Collide-O-Scope music distinguishes itself from other ensembles in its configuration as a composers’ collective with a special focus on diverse media.  My favorite thing about this group is the inventive programming of its founder and pianist/composer Augustus Arnone.  This group dares to play the great repertoire from recently forgotten masters of the late 20th century, and new compositions by established and not-so established composers.  I always come away from playing a COSM concert feeling like I participated in something important, a unique and unforgettable event!
